The 2019 Mazda6 drivetrain comes standard with FWD on all models and a 2.5-liter four-cylinder on the two lower models. These pump out 187 horsepower. The higher trims feature a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that pumps out 227 or 250 horsepower. These all come with a six-speed automatic transmission. While the Mazda6 provides an agile ride, it also gives you the nimble, poised handling you hoped for. Mazda has confirmed that diesel and AWD versions of the Mazda6 will be available in the near future.
