The 2025 Mazda CX-70 PHEV is a new midsize crossover in the lineup. It is closely styled after the popular Mazda CX-90. However, while their cabins are roughly the same size, the Mazda CX-70 PHEV has two rows of seats, while the Mazda CX-90 has three rows. As a result, the Mazda CX-70 PHEV has a roomy interior with optimized cargo space at the rear.
As a new model, the 2025 Mazda CX-70 PHEV is remarkably modern and sleek. Its brilliant aesthetics are established by a tall yet subtly tapered roofline and fluid side panels for a premium look. The sides are dressed up with lower-body molding, modest fender definition, and a small air inlet near the front fender. At the front, the 2025 Mazda CX-70 PHEV has a standout look with a wide, edgy version of Mazda's classic grille design. At the upper corners of the grille, the unit connects to the small, U-shaped headlights with an angled LED ribbon.
The Mazda CX-70 PHEV draws 323 horsepower from its powertrain. This powertrain includes an electric motor with a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine. It is designed to take you 26 miles on electric power before tapping into the gas tank.
