Performance

Three powertrains are available for the Mazda CX-90. These include a V6, 3.3-liter turbo system that generates 280 horsepower, and a turbo variant that produces 340 horsepower. A plug-in hybrid version of this model known as the Mazda CX-90 PHEV is also available. The standard engine for the Mazda CX-90 generates 332 lb-ft of torque. The Dodge Durango is available with one V6 system as well as three V8 options that are offered at a higher price. The base engine for the Durango only generates 260 lb-ft of torque.

Appearance

As a brand-new model, the 2024 Mazda CX-90 has modern appeal throughout its exterior. This large, spacious SUV achieves a sophisticated look with a long, sloping profile that transitions to a raked rear. The sides have a hint of accentuation with metallic trim on the lower door panels and side air intake. The wheels are styled with a mini-spoke design. The front end is distinctive, with thick chrome elements over the bumper, around the grille, and accenting the headlights. The Dodge Durango has a recognizable design, a boxy shape, and a tall nose. Both the grille and bumper have a wide shape with angled sides. The headlights are almost rectangular with an LED outline bar.
